How to Choose Different Bearings for Cooling Fans:
Sleeve Bearings: These are sleeve bearings that use sliding friction and rely on lubricating oil as a lubricant and friction reducer. Low operating noise and low cost during initial use. The lifespan of ordinary oil-impregnated bearings is typically between 5,000 and 6,000 hours.
Hydraulic Bearing: The hydraulic bearing is an improvement on the oil-impregnated bearing, featuring a larger oil storage space and a unique loop-back oil supply circuit. This type of bearing inherits the advantages of oil-impregnated bearings and has a longer lifespan than oil-impregnated bearings, with an average lifespan of up to 40,000 hours.
Ball bearings: They change the way bearings operate by using rolling friction, which more effectively reduces friction between the bearing surfaces and significantly extends the lifespan of fan bearings. Ball bearings are divided into single ball bearings and double ball bearings:
Single Ball Bearing : Combines sliding friction and rolling friction, with a service life of up to 40,000 hours, but the operating noise will increase.
